Twin Cities Pride Festival expanding ahead of June 2023 event

Twin Cities Pride organizers have expanded the hours, space and number of events ahead of the June 2023 festival, according to a press release.

Organizers say the biggest change is the festival will expand to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, the outdoor part of the Walker Art Center across from Loring Park, in addition to its traditional space in the park. Programming at the sculpture garden will include vendors and entertainment.

Besides the annual Pride beer dabbler on the Friday night of Pride weekend, a new wine dabbler will take place on Sunday.

People can also enjoy the festival for an extra hour on Saturday evening, as the festival will now be open until 7 p.m. In previous years, it closed at 6 p.m. on Saturdays.

This year’s festival will feature a new youth area as well as more food courts. The festival is all allowing all ages into the beer garden, but people ages 21 and older must buy a $5 wristband to purchase any alcohol inside.

Twin Cities Pride Festival 2023 is set to run June 23-25 and is free to attend. The festival includes many vendors, food and beverage options, and music and entertainment stages.
