3 St. Paul families displaced by apartment fire

Three families are without a home after an apartment fire this past weekend at a building in St. Paul’s Parkway-Greenbrier neighborhood, the St. Paul Fire Department tells 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS.

Around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, crews responded to a fire coming from the third floor of an apartment building at 1467 Seventh Street East.

St. Paul Fire says the incident left three units uninhabitable and three families without homes.

Responders came to help patients find shelter and treatment if needed. No injuries were reported.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.

Around 4:30am crews responded to a 3rd floor apartment fire on 7th St E. Coordination was made with MTC to provide displaced residents with shelter until they could get back into the building.
