Shooting leaves man seriously injured in south Minneapolis

Police say a man is in the hospital after he was shot Friday night in Minneapolis.

According to Minneapolis Police Department spokesman Brian Feintech, police responded to a reported shooting around 8:23 p.m. on the 3100 block of Park Avenue South. A man in his 40s with life-threatening gunshot wounds was taken to Hennepin Healthcare.

A 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS camera saw police collecting evidence and blocking off a crime scene in an alley.

The shooting remains under investigation.

No arrests have been made.
