Identity of man found dead in St. Paul released

Authorities have released the identity of a man found dead last week in St. Paul.
According to St. Paul police, the man found on a sidewalk early Friday morning has been identified as 59-year-old Jeffrey Foss.
As of Tuesday morning, no one is in custody in connection with Foss’ death.
As previously reported, police were called to the 600 block of Dale Street North shortly after 3 a.m. on a report of a man lying on the sidewalk.
When officers arrived, they found Foss had already died, and had significant trauma to his face.
Foss’ death is the 21st homicide of the year in St. Paul.
Police confirmed that the man had at least one gunshot wound on his body.
