1 injured, 2 detained in Brooklyn Park shooting

Police say two people have been detained after a man was shot in the leg late Wednesday night.
According to Brooklyn Park police, officers were called to the 5800 block of 73rd Avenue North at about 10:20 p.m. for a reported shooting.
When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot in the leg and provided aid until he was taken to North Memorial Hospital.
Police said Thursday morning that the man is in stable condition.
After finding the scene of the shooting, two people were detained. However, no other details were immediately provided about what led up to the shooting.
The investigation into the shooting remains active.
