Overnight fire damages garage, house

No injuries were reported to Coon Rapids firefighters Monday after a fire broke out overnight.
Officials say the fire broke out around midnight along Magnolia Street NW between 115th and 117th Avenues.
Crews tell 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS the fire started in a detached garage.
A car in that garage was destroyed, and the fire also melted the siding on the neighbor’s house.
Crews say no one was home when the flames broke out.
