Police search for suspect in deadly Maple Grove road rage shooting

Police say they have no indication parties involved in Sunday afternoon’s fatal shooting in Maple Grove knew each other before the altercation.
No arrests have been made, though police say they are pursuing active leads and still asking for the public’s help.

Maple Grove police say an argument just before 3 p.m. Sunday in the area of County Road 30 and Garland Lane escalated into the shooting, with one driver shooting at the other’s vehicle before they both drove away.
The victim was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Maple Grove police told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS Sunday there is “no known ongoing threat to the community.”
