Oakdale Elementary School closed due to ‘widespread stomach illness’

Oakdale Elementary School was closed Thursday due to a “widespread stomach illness,” according to a statement on the school’s website.

School officials reported the illness was not related to COVID-19.

In addition to the elementary school closure, officials said there would be no preschool or before/after school Adventure connection.

Parents and guardians were asked to return to school to pick up students who had already been dropped off earlier Thursday.

Additional information on the closure has not yet been made available.
