Creative new ways to appreciate your favorite Girl Scout Cookie

Producer Lauren Andrego has whipped up some viral recipes using Girl Scout Cookies for Megan and Chris, including a Thin Mint mocha, Thin Mint brownies, Caramel Delite popcorn and Lemon-Ups puppy chow.

Recipes:

Thin Mint Mocha: (recipe by @ashleynicolequiroz on TikTok)
Ingredients:
–Thin mints
–Espresso
–Ice
–Milk
–Peppermint syrup

Instructions:
–Crush Thin Mints into dust
–Pour espresso over top
–Fill glass with ice, then milk and syrup
–Pour espresso/cookie mixture on top.
–Stir and enjoy.

Thin mint brownies:

Ingredients:
–Brownie mix (and other ingredients according to box)
–Thin mints
–Andes mints

–Layer bottom of non-stick 9×9 pan with Thin Mints.
–Make brownie mix according to box instructions.
–Optional: Add Andes mints. Bake.

Caramel Delight Popcorn:

Ingredients:
–Caramel corn (homemade or premade)
–Caramel delites
–Melted milk chocolate

–Pour melted chocolate over popcorn and crushed cookies on a baking sheet.
–Let it harden, then break into pieces.

Lemon-Ups Puppy Chow: (recipe from heaveninadish.blogspot.com)


Ingredients:
1 cup roughly chopped Savannah Smiles GS cookies
8 cups Chex cereal
1 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup lemon curd
1/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
3 tsp grated lemon peel
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Measure cereal into a large mixing bowl and set aside.
In a microwaveable bowl, microwave chips, butter, lemon curd and peel uncovered on high. Stir about every 30 seconds. Microwave until mixture can be stirred smooth. Add vanilla.
Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated.
Pour into a 2-gallon resealable food storage plastic bag. Add powdered sugar and cookies, seal bag and shake until all the cereal is well-coated.
Spread out on cookie sheet to cool; once cool, serve store at room temperature in airtight containers.
