Wisconsin COVID-19 survivor returns home

A COVID-19 survivor in Wisconsin is finally home after spending 97 days in a hospital.

Rick Klimek was given a standing ovation as he left Aurora St. Luke’s hospital in Milwaukee.

The 65-year-old said he was in good health and has no idea how he contracted the virus.

Klimek said everyone should wear a mask and maintain social distancing so they don’t end up where he did.

State health officials said the 97-day stay appears to be the longest in Wisconsin.
