The Minnesota Wild returned to action Wednesday with a warmup game ahead of the team’s restarted season, and they had a special way of celebrating.
To mark hockey’s return, mascot Nordy and former Wild captain Wes Walz delivered teddy bears to kids at Children’s Minnesota.
The bears each had their own Wild face masks, which were made by Wild employees.
The team’s first meaningful game is Sunday against Vancouver.
