Valentine’s Day spending expected to be more than last year

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and consumers are expected to spend more this year than the past.

According to the National Retail Federation, we’ll spend an average of $196 on Valentine’s Day this year.

Most of the money will be spent on gifts for spouses or significant others.

The total spending is expected to top $27 billion, that’s 32% from last year’s record.
