A St. Paul nonprofit wants to make sure everyone stays warm this winter.
Emma Norton Services in St. Paul launched its annual coat drive on Tuesday.
The drive will help provide coats to people experiencing homelessness.
"Especially with COVID-19 and a lot of places not doing in-person donations and drives, it’s really, really essential. Especially this weekend to try to be as active as possible with donors to getting people nice, warm, gently used coats," said Mbemba Camara, program manager.
In addition to coats, the organization is looking for new or gently used boots, gloves, hats and any other winter gear.
Items should be dropped off by Oct. 15. Contact Emma Norton’s advancement associate Victoria Virasy at vvirasy@emmanorton.org.
