St. Paul Jewish Federation delivers face shields to senior care organization

The St. Paul Jewish Federation on Friday help a local senior care organization meet a need.

The Jewish Federation dropped off 1,000 face shields to Sholom, which operates senior apartment homes and assisted living centers around the metro.

Organizers said the face shields were made in Israel, and are designed to be anti-fogging and reusable after cleaning.

Sholom officials have reported 32 positive cases and 10 deaths related to COVID-19 at its facilities.
