New homes and neighborhoods are opening up across the region.

The Spring Parade of Homes has officially started and will be going on until April 5.

Lindsay Guntzel, spokesperson for Spring Parade of Homes, joins 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS and tells all about the new homes.

This spring, there are 434 homes open and all the houses are free to tour with the exception of four "Dream Homes," where you will be asked to pay a $5 admission at the door.

The proceeds from the "Dream Homes" will go to the Housing First Minnesota Foundation to help them build and remodel homes for Minnesotans in need.
