Authorities say $50,000 worth of bees were stolen from a farm in Arizona.
Valley Honey Company reported 112 hives were stolen.
Not only do the bees make honey, but they’re also taken to California to pollinate almond fields.
The owner keeps the bees on leased land away from public access.
Police caught the thieves and said they planned to take the hives to California to cash in on the almond crops before selling them. They were cited but not arrested.
