Minnesota kids get free cleanings, checkups during ‘Give Kids a Smile Week’

Minnesota children are getting their smiles checked out for free.
It’s part of ‘Give Kids a Smile Week‘ weekend.
On Friday, volunteers gave out free cleanings and checkups to kids of all ages. If a child needed more work than could be done on Friday, the follow-up appointment is free as well.
"We actually network with some of the specialists in the area so if we aren’t able to take care of the problems that we have, we can refer them to some of the oral surgeons, endodontists or event orthodontists," said Dr. John Woell.
The free week of dental care is all about making sure everyone has a good experience at the dentist.
