Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey is touting a new pilot program designed to provide storage for people experiencing homelessness.

The $25,000 program offers 50 storage containers so individuals can drop off their belongings as they go about their days. It will be free for the homeless.

A recent survey found that nearly 75% of those experiencing homelessness in Minneapolis don’t have adequate space for their belongings.
