Minneapolis City Council recognizes Transit Equity Day

The Minneapolis City Council has officially recognized Transit Equity Day.
The resolution passed by the transportation subcommittee says public transportation should be "accessible and affordable to all."
Robin Hutchinson, the Minneapolis Public Works Director, said, "I believe this is a really important recognition that we tie together both equity and climate and see transit as a solution that solves for both long-standing issues that we see in our community."
