Local restaurant serves free food for kids

A local Mexican restaurant is making sure kids can celebrate taco Tuesday free of charge.

Since the pandemic hit Ryan and Jen McGunnigle, owners of Las Tortillas in Rosemount, have been giving free meals to the community.

After realizing a lot of school lunches would go bad, they called the Rosemount resource centers and started a non-profit to help out.

Ryan says they have fed over 3,000 kids in the last month and a half
