Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office staff save 2 eagles

Two staff members of the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office were able to save two eagles that became entangled Tuesday night.

The sheriff’s office said residents in Greenfield saw two eagles hit the ground after the birds grappled and became entangled.

Deputy Matthew Petrone and CSI Sarah Peck were able to successfully separate the two animals.

After the birds were separated, both were able to fly off on their own.
