Gov. Walz announced restrictions to bars, restaurants and ‘places of public amusement’ in a press conference Monday night.
In the address, he announced that all bars and restaurants will close in-store dining and switch to only carry out or delivery options. Walz announced these measures to try and fight the spread of the novel coronavirus that is causing COVID-19.
The "places of public amusement" impacted include theaters, museums, gyms, amusement parks, arcades and other recreational facilities.
Grocery stores, convenience stores and pharmacies will remain open during the closure.
