Families rally for release of inmates nearing end of sentences

Families are pressing the Minnesota Department of Corrections to release inmates because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thursday, Decarcerate Minnesota rallied outside DOC offices in St. Paul.
The group is calling for the release of inmates with less than 90 days left on their sentences, and the release of inmates with medical conditions who also qualify for work release.
