Blaine family holds drive-by baby shower to make the most of social distancing

All this social distancing is not great timing for some — especially if you’ve been planning a baby shower.

In Blaine, friends and families made sure all the planning and decorations didn’t go to waste. Bev Johnson held a drive-by baby shower for her daughter, Jamie.

The original plan was to have a few dozen people come inside and celebrate, but with the coronavirus pandemic forcing people to keep their distance, they decided to move the party outside.

Guests drove by the house to hand off their gifts, get a thank-you bag and go on their way.
