A Minnesota WWII veteran got some help from his community, friends and family in celebrating his 98th birthday.

Bob Wieman’s friends and family were able to put on a birthday parade in St. Paul for the birthday boy. He served in WWII in the Army Air Corps in the south Pacific and was the pilot of a bomber plane.

Wieman was born and raised in Arlington, Minnesota, before he moved to St. Paul in the 1950s to work as a chemist at 3M.
