Spotty showers and thunderstorms tonight, cooler midweek with frost possible for some
Good evening! Scattered showers and t’storms are in place across Minnesota into Wisconsin with an upper level trough tracking east-southward. I’m not expecting severe storms, but an isolated strong storm is possible through about 11 PM tonight. A few light and spotty showers are possible overnight tonight into Tuesday morning. Most of us stay dry though. Some patchy fog is also possible tomorrow morning.
You’ll notice decreasing cloud cover into the afternoon tomorrow (with northeastern Minnesota and much of Wisconsin being the exception). Temperatures will trend cooler tomorrow and Wednesday. Some patchy frost is possible Wednesday morning, but right now that looks like more of a concern up north. Some patchy fog is again possible early Wednesday morning.
We unfortunately don’t have much in terms of rainfall in this current 7-day forecast. While we have the chance for a few showers and storms tonight, and again on Friday, both of these chances will for the most part bring light rainfall that isn’t widespread.
