No. 1 Totino-Grace narrowly edges Maple Grove

The No. 1 (Class 3A) Totino-Grace Eagles boys basketball team defeated the Maple Grove Crimson 57-51 on Thursday evening, at Totino-Grace High School.

Maple Grove came out the gates hot from three. Senior guard Matthew Hosmann was on fire from deep range in the first half, leading the Crimson to a one-point halftime lead. For Totino-Grace, senior forward Ahjany Lee and junior forward Patrick Bath both dominated the paint for the Eagles.
In the second half, junior guard Taison Chatman started heating up and made big play after big play for the Eagles. Down the stretch, junior forward Tommy Humphries made multiple clutch shots for Totino-Grace, leading them to the six-point victory.
