Coming off an 11-day training camp run in Orlando, the Loons head to Portland late this week to close out the preseason schedule.

While in Orlando, United won both preseason games – beating Orlando City SC 5-4 in their second game.

They now head to Portland for additional preseason training and three more exhibition matches: vs Portland on Sun Feb 13, vs Salt Lake on Wed Feb 16 and vs Stavanger, Norway-based Viking FK on Sat Feb 19.

Defender Michael Boxall and midfielders Robin Lod and Hassani Dotson are back with the team after missing the Orlando trip. Boxall was playing with the New Zealand National Team, Lod was fulfilling military service requirements in Finland and Dotson was away for the birth of his first child.

United begins the 2022 season – their fifth in Major League Soccer – Saturday, February 26th with a noon kickoff in Philadelphia. The home opener is the following Saturday, March 5th against Nashville at 5:00 p.m.
