Light Snow will move through the Twin Cities this afternoon and early evening which will produce Scattered Slippery Spots and maybe some driving time delays between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. with 1″ or less Snow Accumulation expected by 6 p.m. Temperatures this afternoon will be in the low to mid 20s this afternoon with West-Southwest Winds at 5 to 10 mph then West-Northwest Winds at 5 to 10 mph Tonight and lows in the low 20s by the 7:49 a.m. Friday.
Partly to Mostly Cloudy on Friday with Snow Flurries at times and highs in the low 20s with Northwest Winds at 5 to 15 mph. Partly Cloudy Friday night with some Flurries at times and lows in the mid teens by Saturday morning.
Cloudy on Saturday with highs in the mid to upper 20s then Light Snow developing after 11 p.m. Saturday and continuing into Sunday with 1″ to 2″ of Snow Accumulation through the day on Sunday. Highs both Saturday and Sunday in the mid to upper 20s with lows Saturday night into Sunday morning in the low to mid 20s. Turning Windy and Much Colder late Sunday night with Partly Cloudy Skies and some Blowing Snow in open areas outside the I-494/I-694 loop.
Temperatures Monday morning will be Bitterly Cold with air temperatures near -2 Below and Wind-Chills of -15 to -20 Below. Partly Cloudy and Bitter Cold Winds on Monday with afternoon highs near 8 degrees and Wind-Chills near -5 Below. Decreasing Winds Monday night but still Cold with lows near -4 Below by Tuesday morning and Wind-Chills near -15 Below. Tuesday will be Sunny and Cold with highs near 10 degrees then lows near 0 by Wednesday morning.
Not as Cold on Wednesday with highs in the low to mid 20s and Partly Cloudy Skies then Mild on Thursday January 16 with highs in the mid 30s to near 40 degrees. JONATHAN YUHAS
