The Southern Anoka Community Assistance (SACA Food Shelf) has its 12th annual Hops for Hunger craft beer fundraiser happening on Friday, March 22.

Dave Rudolph, co-director of SACA Food Shelf, sat down with 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS Anchor Brett Hoffland Sunday morning to discuss the purpose of the event.

Hops for Hunger is taking place at Quincy Hall in Minneapolis on March 22 from 6-9 p.m. In addition to more than 40 breweries, cideries, and meaderies participating, there will also be a DJ spinning music, a silent auction and a beer and cider wall.

Tickets are $55 in advance and $65 at the door. Designated driver tickets are $15. Ticket proceeds go to SACA’s operations and purchasing food for families in need.
