FORECAST FIRST ALERT: SEVERE T-STORMS
Today will be Hazy, Hot and Humid in the Twin Cities with highs around 92 degrees and Heat Index Values in the upper 90s with Southeast Winds at 5 to 10 mph.
The Big Deal with the Weather Today in Twin Cities and surrounding areas including St.Cloud, Willmar, Redwood Falls, Mankato, Owatonna, Albert Lea/Austin and Rochester is Risk for Severe T-Storms with Damaging Winds of +75 mph, Large Hail, Flash Flooding and Tornadoes.
A Line of Severe T-Storms stretching from Alexandria to Sioux Falls, South Dakota will be moving east after 3 p.m. and approaching the Twin Cities after 6 p.m. The Leading Edge of the T-Storms could produce Damaging Wind Gusts of +75 mph along with Large Hail and Heavy Rainfall. Tornadoes are possible too especially in an area from Mankato, Owatonna and points south into Iowa. T-Storms will continue into Thursday morning in the Twin Cities and western Wisconsin and Flash Flooding will be possible in spots overnight. JONATHAN YUHAS
