The Edina Hornets baseball team defeated the Wayzata Trojans twice Thursday night to claim the Section 6AAAA championship and advance to the state tournament.

Edina, who came out of the elimination bracket, beat Wayzata 10-1 in the first game of the night and then topped the Trojans 5-1 in the deciding game two.
