For the first time in 87 years the Farmington Tigers are going to the Boys State Basketball Tournament after beating Lakeville North 70-59 at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester to claim the Class 4A, Section 1 Championship.

Farmington was led by junior guard Ryan Beckwith with 26 points, his brother senior guard Tyler Beckwith added 14. Senior guard Brandon Hrncir also had a solid game with 17 points.
