Have you made Valentine’s Day plans yet? Whether you’re staying in or hitting the town, there are apps that can help you plan a date and connect with your partner. Minnesota Live producer Lauren Andrego fills us in.

NoteIt

-With NoteIt, you can instantly send love notes to your partner’s phone.
-You’ll both download the free app and exchange codes.
-Then, you can draw and write little notes.
-Install the widget! Once it’s on your home screen, it will instantly populate with the most recently sent note.

Better Topics

-Created to refresh your relationship and understand your partner better
-You both will download the app and pair them with codes
-Everyday, the app will shuffle the card deck and give you nine cards. You’ll be able to choose questions for your partner to answer and vice cersa.
-As you play the game, the app will spark conversations it calls “unexpected, sensitive and even topics that you would otherwise avoid.”
-It also prompts weekly challenges — these are secret to the individual. It will ask you to do things like surprise your partner with breakfast, etc.

Love Nudge

-The official app of the 5 Love Languages
-It’s a very simple app — first you’ll take the quiz to find out your love languages and what you find most important
-Then, you’ll connect with your partner through the app
-The app will give you ideas to help you speak your partner’s love language consistently

Cobble

-This app helps you plan a date!
-Dating app style — swipe through at-home date night ideas like games, recipes, movies and a whole bunch of activities
-They’re also piloting a version that will recommend dates outside your home — restaurants, concerts and other events — but right now it’s only available in New York City.
