According to the National Cancer Institute, approximately 13,960 women in the United States were projected to receive a diagnosis of cervical cancer in 2023 and approximately 4,310 die from the disease yearly.  More than half of those diagnosed were never or rarely screened for cervical cancer.  Dr. Maura Jacobi with Entira Family Clinics is here with more information.
