On Spirit Week our hosts and reporters are heading back to high school! Our Executive Producer, Mike Marcotte, travels back to Centennial High School where he was involved in musicals. He got in on their latest production, “Marley’s Ghost: An Adaptation of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol by Eric Webster” playing one of the starring roles!
“Marley’s Ghost: An Adaptation of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol by Eric Webster”
“A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens has been told thousands of times in thousands of ways. But in all of those adaptations, the question of “Why is Scrooge the way he is?” has never really been addressed.
This adaptation by Eric Webster stays true to the original and timeless classic, but broadens the brush stroke of empathy for our fellow persons, by exploring the path that brought Scrooge to her condition, with the intention that her denouement should remind us that everyone’s personal experiences are unique and worthy of consideration.
