Easy Cheesy Supreme Pizza Bowls

Based in Northeast Minneapolis, the Herbivorous Butcher is known for their pizzas. Today on TCL, Co-owners Aubry and Kale Walch teach Ben and Elizabeth how to make Cheesy Supreme Pizza Bowls.

Makes 1 Pizza Bowl

Ingredients:

1 oz. pepperoni
Olive Oil, for brushing
2 oz. vegan mozzarella or provolone cheese, shredded
1 oz. vegan Italian sausage, crumbled or chopped
2 TBSP chopped green bell pepper
1 TBSP chopped red onion
1 TBSP sliced black olives
½ cup pizza sauce
Kale’s pizza dough or vegan ready-made dough

Directions:

Preheat the oven according to the baking temperature of the pizza dough you’ve chosen.
Prepare the pepperoni and set aside.
Brush a 10 oz., ovenproof bowl with olive oil, making sure to grease the entire bowl inside and out. Into the bowl, add the vegan cheese, vegan sausage, pepperoni, bell pepper, onion, and black olives. Next spoon on the sauce, making sure to cover all the ingredients.
Stretch the pizza dough over the top of bowl, draping it over the sides so that the top and outside are completely covered. Brush the pizza dough with olive oil. Place the bowl on a baking sheet and bake according to the directions of the dough you’ve chosen.
Once the dough is golden and crisp, remove from the oven and flip your pizza bowl facedown onto a plate. Carefully remove the bowl – it will be hot – and gaze at the perfect deep-dish pizza you just created.
