Clean Week: Car Detailing

A car inspection checklist before the summer:

1. Battery
Extreme temperature fluctuations can cause your battery to wear out prematurely

2. Wiper blades
The winter ice and snow take a toll on our wiper blades. If you have an SUV, don’t forget to check the back wiper blade as well

3. Tires
Did they wear evenly throughout the winter? If they are wearing unevenly, have the alignment checked. This can help prevent you from needing to replace your tires sooner than necessary

4. Brakes
Make sure you have the stopping power to avoid the unexpected, like a deer on the road! Or just to avoid accidents in general while traveling on your summer road trips

• Letting brake pads get too worn can create additional damage to your brake calipers and rotors, which can get expensive!

5. Lastly, check and change oil and filter
