Once an essential skill used by humans to find food in the wild, animal tracking is now used by conservationists and wildlife biologists to find elusive animals and learn about their behaviors. Minnesota Live’s photojournalist Bill Middeke went to St. Croix Savanna Scientific and Natural Area near Bayport to learn more.
