Anything you do most days for 3 to 4 weeks you can call a true habit. Many of us have already lost track of what we were trying to do in January. Diet what?! So how can we find new wins? How do we stay motivated? How do we get restarted when we fall off the tracks a little. Dr. Ryan Dick from Entira Family Clinics shares some ways.
2 rules to live by:
1) Make sure that you have a partner or a coach who will you keep you accountable almost every day. You don’t need to be perfect, but EVERYONE Needs to be held accountable most days out of the week. This is why many people find success when they have support around them.
2) Your current health goals have to fit in your top 3 of things to do almost every day. If exercise is #7 seven on your list of things to do- it WONT HAPPEN. Make sure it fits in your top 3.
- Developing a morning routine.
- Limit screen time.
- Grab a piece of veggies or fruit whe you’re in a hurry, graze all day!
- Track your movement.
- Refill your water bottle a few times a day.
