House Plants 101

Home and Garden Expert, Larry Pfarr takes us to the classroom and gives us a lesson on house plants.

• Right Plant. Right Place.
  (Know your indoor light conditions and choose the correct plant.)

• Watering
  (More plants are killed due to over watering vs. under watering.)

• Fertilizing
  (Read and follow fertilizer directions and error on the side of using less.)

• Transplanting
  (Transplant every couple of years but this can vary based on the type of plant.)

• Insect Control
  (Watch for insects, quarantine infected plants, and treat immediately.)
