Growing up, many kids spent hours playing with Legos.
One man in Minneapolis never stopped and used Legos to create an amazing business.
Dan Siskind opened Brickmania in northeast Minneapolis. Twenty years ago he started designing LEGO sets in his basement and they took off.
“Started small, me doing it year after year,” Siskind said. “It just got bigger and bigger.”
Siskind now owns stores around the country.
“We are not endorsed by Lego,” Siskind said. “They allow us to do what we’re doing as long as we make sure it’s not part of the company.”
Siskind built a replica of the USS Missouri in Lego. The battleship is made from around 500,000 Lego bricks.
