UPDATE:

The Minnesota State Fair announced all tickets for the Food Parade are sold out.

Tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for the Minnesota State Fair’s "Food Parade" — a 1.5-mile drive-thru experience that includes 16 food vendors.

However, users experienced intermittent issues accessing the website to purchase tickets.

Fair organizers say the event is more than just food: trivia and other entertainment options should keep attendees occupied for hours.

Admission is $20 per vehicle, and each vehicle is allowed up to five occupants; once inside, food and drinks are a la carte. The Food Parade will take place over three weekends: Aug. 20-23, Aug. 27-30 and Sept. 3-7.

Proceeds will help cover the State Fair’s normal maintenance and operations. The fair is expecting to lose 95% of its yearly revenue because of the coronavirus pandemic.
