Local breweries to offer state fair specialty beers, beverages
Minnesotans might not be able to have their normal state fair experience this year, but here’s a reason for a toast: some local breweries will offer the specialty brews and beverages found during the Great Minnesota Get-Together.
Monday, the Minnesota State Fair released a list of specialty drinks and the locations at which Minnesotans can find those beverages.
Here’s the list:
- Big Wood Brewery in White Bear Lake will have Andy’s Grille’s Chocolate Chip Cookie beer.
- Lift Bridge Brewing Company in Stillwater will have Cafe Caribe’s Key Lime Pie beer and Ball Park Cafe’s Mini Donut beer.
- Sociable Cider Werks in Minneapolis will have Giggles’ Campfire Grill’s Raspberry Hard Cider and Sparkling Honey Hive beverage.
- Excelsior Brewing Company in Excelsior will have Giggles’ Campfire Grill’s S’Mores beer.
Meanwhile, last week, fair organizers announced there will be a drive-thru experience for three weekends in August and September that will allow visitors to get a taste of fair food.
