DNR celebrates Military Appreciation Day, gives outdoor activity lessons to fairgoers on day 6

Minnesota State Fair visitors can learn about many outdoor activities at the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources building on day six of the fair, which is also Military Appreciation Day.
The DNR tells 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS the department will feature lessons on Minnesota fishing, hunting dog training and stand-up paddleboarding Tuesday.
For Military Appreciation Day, building visitors can go to the front desk at the DNR building to learn what benefits the DNR offers military families.
