KSTP is excited to celebrate our 75th anniversary with our viewers at the Great Minnesota Get Together in 2023, where we’ve been broadcasting live since 1948. While visiting our building you can learn about the rich history of Minnesota’s original TV station and take a photo next to the iconic KSTP mural painted by local artist Adam Turman.

Stop by our building daily to enjoy a Patio Party sponsored by Sun Country Airlines. We are located on Chambers Street near Carnes Ave, by the Grandstand.

At the building, you’ll find tables and benches to take a break and eat and drink some fair food and beverages while watching the day’s news, spinning the prize wheel, playing trivia or taking in a live broadcast of Minnesota Live, Twin Cities Live and live weather with Minnesota’s Weather Authority during newscasts.

• Minnesota Live, weekdays, 9-10 a.m.
• Twin Cities Live, weekdays, 3-4:30 p.m.
• Forecast First, weekdays during these newscasts: Midday (11 a.m.), 12 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 6:30 p.m.

After Minnesota Live, you can meet and get a photo with hosts Chris Egert and Megan Newquist.

Following Twin Cities Live, you can also meet and get a photo with the show’s hosts and reporters -Elizabeth Ries, Ben Leber, Kelli Hanson and Kristin Haubrich. The show will be your go-to for finding out all the best food, fashion and fun you can find at the State Fair this year.

The 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS and 45TV weather team will be forecasting live from the fair. You can meet meteorologists Ken Barlow, Wren Clair, Jonathan Yuhas, Matt Serwe and Chris Reece in addition to other anchors and reporters who will be making special appearances at our building.

You can spin a giant prize wheel to win swag from your favorite shows and a chance to win an outdoor dining room set and grill from Patio Town.

You can also enter to win a $2,500 travel voucher from Sun County Airlines.
