What used to be a large dump in the Brainerd area has been transformed into a arboretum conservation area that caters to the environment and people seeking outdoor recreation. The Northland Arboretum defines their mission “to be a valued community as-set providing outdoor recreation and educational activities for all while protecting the natural environment.”
