Walz issues orders to request assistance from law enforcement from neighboring states

Saturday, Gov. Tim Walz announced that he has directed the Minnesota Department of Public safety to request and accept assistance from law enforcement officers from neighboring states.

The order comes after violent protests and civil unrest broke out in response to the death of George Floyd.
