Community members gathered in Powderhorn Park Wednesday to discuss the future of the memorial for George Floyd.
The intersection of Chicago Avenue and 38th Street, where the memorial resides, has been closed since Floyd’s death on Memorial Day.
Those at the town hall said they want to make sure the memorial won’t just go away.
The Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association and the Central Neighborhood hosted the event. It’s the third town hall held on the memorial’s future.
