Walz anticipated to call for special session, house speaker says
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is anticipated to issue a proclamation Friday calling the Minnesota Legislature to a special session.
The news was confirmed in an email Minn. Speaker of the House Melissa Hortman sent House members and staff.

The email says if the special session is called, it would convene on July 13.
The Legislature held a special session in June, where lawmakers discussed police reform and accountability, COVID-19 resources and a bonding bill.
